The Mexican Pavilion is organised by the Embassy of Mexico. It includes 4 visual artists’ exhibitions MEX4: Preservation of the Occult at the National Gallery on Chao Faa Road

Héctor de Anda URBAN ALTARPIECES – Advertisements scattered throughout Mexico City that are turned into abstract art pieces with a religious touch.

Maribel Portela IMPERMANENCE – a paper sculpture collection that hints the miracle of reproduction life creation and the delicacy of the very existence of life.

Adolfo Pérez Butrón DEMONS - a “mise-en-scène" of living sculptures portraying this stoic character of the Mexican mythology.

Silvana Burns IN-BETWEEN/DIFFERENCE – a straightforward photograph collection to explore “the distortion of the physical body and the body image”
